A Jackson Hole Holiday to Remember

July 4, 2020

Get ready for a special Independence Day in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  With two firework shows taking place, along with the incredible mountain and town activities, Jackson Hole is sure to welcome you with patriotic spirit.

To keep the community and visitors safe, it is encouraged to celebrate America’s birthday as the locals do.  This is playing outside in an appropriately distance way and being respectful enjoying the beautiful outdoors recreation.

For family activities and in town activities, visit Snow King Mountain Resort.  It is filled with a variety of activities like miniature golf, the cowboy coaster, along with a scenic chair lift ride.  Experience the true western culture by watching the Jackson Hole Rodeo on the evening of July 4th.  It is a tradition that dates back to the historic days of Jackson.  Cap off the night by watching the fireworks display above Snow King Mountain at 10 pm.  Guests are encouraged to watch from a car or stand 6 feet from other people.

Another option is to celebrate the holiday in Teton Village.  Enjoy yoga overlooking stunning views from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.  This elevated yoga takes place on the deck at the top of the Bridger Gondola at 9,095 feet starting at 9:30 am.  While you are at Teton Village, enjoy the many mountain activities offered for people of all ages.  End the holiday by watching an incredible firework display at 10 p.m.
Suggested viewing points from your car include:  Village Parking Lot, The Ranch Lot, Crystal Springs Lot and Cody Lot.  Other local businesses offer outdoor viewing from Teton Thai, The Mangy Moose, The Spur and the Lounge at The Four Seasons.
