Powder in Jackson Hole for Opening Day!

Thank you Mother Nature for delivering a perfect weather pattern leading up to Jackson Hole Resort's Opening Day. 18 inches of snow fell in 48 hours before the resort opened.  Better yet, 8 inches delivered itself just in time for the first lift to start bringing skiers and riders up the mountain to untouched terrain.   The deeps and steeps of Jackson Hole Resort were found from all the powder hungry riders on Opening Day!

Hoots and hollers were heard throughout the mountain with giggly smiles entering the lift lines.  Just when you thought the last run was "as good as it gets" with soft, fluffy, untracked snow, the next run topped it off with continually perfect conditions.  The entire day was filled with incredible skiing and riding!

Due to higher snow totals heading into Opening Day, a welcomed surprise of the Teton Lift joined the list of lifts opened for the weekend.  The Teewinot, Apres Vous and Casper lifts are also open, as well as the  Sweetwater Gondola.  This gives incredible terrain access for those early season skiers and riders.

It was an amazing Opening Day with hopes the season ahead is full of many more powder days, hoots and hollers as skiing in Jackson Hole provides for a legendary winter experience.
