Fly Into Grand Teton National Park

Flying into Jackson Hole this winter got a whole lot easier with 12 different cities offering nonstop flights directly into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC).  The bonus, JAC is the only commercial airport in the United States located within a National Park.  That's right, you heard that correctly - you fly into a National Park.  The airport is located at the base of the Grand Teton National Park.  I can’t think of a better way to start a ski vacation then to land with pristine views and the most spectacular backdrop.

Once you arrive at the airport, don’t go rushing out the door to take those first few selfies of the Tetons (or do)…. But first be sure your shuttle, taxi or rental car information is handy.  Getting into the town of Jackson is about a 35 minute drive through the gorgeous Teton valley.  The public bus system in Jackson makes it really easy for affordable travel to the Jackson Hole Resort and downtown Jackson.  Rental cars and taxi services are also plentiful if you so chose to have your own transportation.

Jackson Hole Airport is serviced by United Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, and private jet services.  See picture below of the nonstop flight options.
