First Snow on Corbet's Cabin

Believe it or not.  Embrace it.  Jump with joy.  The fist dusting of snow just fell upon Jackson Hole Mountain Resort last night.  Yup, September 9th marked an exciting day for ski and snowboard enthusiast who have been counting down the days to ski season since it wrapped up last spring.

While there was just a dusting of snow captured on Corbet's Cabin, there is more snow in the forecast for Wednesday evening.  For those lucky enough to see, whether a dusting or a few inches, we know that ski season is just around the corner.

For those folks not quite ready to count down to ski season, rest assured the best of Fall is yet to come in Jackson Hole.  The tram is still open to ride and enjoy the scaping views of the Tetons and valley floor below.  The ‘summer’ activities are still available for people of all ages to adventure and explore.  Don’t put the mountain bike and hiking boots away just yet.  The trails are just about perfect.  Foliage is still yet to peek, while summer, sunny, 70 degree days are back in the forecast after this cold streak moves out.

Get up to Wyoming to take advantage of these beautiful September days.  I am ready to embrace one of my favorite seasons, ‘Shoulder Season’ as the locals refer.  It is a time between summer and winter.  The calendar refers to the time-frame as Fall, and the beauty that rests between September and December will have you enjoying the simple days, grandeur views and a mixture of a little snow in between sunny days. Restaurant and lodging deals also make it a reason to add a Jackson Hole vacation to your Fall trip list.
